Inmate found dead in Paragould cemetery

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Arkansas State Police is investigating the death of an inmate in a Paragould cemetery.

According to Public Information Officer Bill Sadler, Christopher Daniels, 22, who was incarcerated by the Paragould Police Department, was found dead around 3 p.m. Thursday in the Linwood Cemetery.

Sadler said Daniels had been operating an all-terrain vehicle inside the cemetery before he died.

Sadler said what caused Daniels' death is not known at this time.

According to jail records, Daniels was arrested for a misdemeanor revocation of probation. No other details are being released by Paragould Police at this time. 

His body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.

    According to Jackson County Sheriff's Captain Ricky Morales, 40-year-old Rickey D. Crawford Jr., of Tuckerman, was arrested in relation to the death of 33-year-old Amanda Michelle Crawford.
