Fire intentionally set, authorities say

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A fire at a vacant house in Blytheville this week has signs of being intentionally set, Blytheville Fire Chief Mike Carney said Thursday.

Carney told Region 8 News that Blytheville firefighters went to North 2nd Street and noticed the smell of accelerants in the back of the home.

No one was injured in the fire, and anyone with information on the case can call the Blytheville Fire Department at (870) 532-5006.
