JONESBORO, AR - The disappearance and search of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway on the island of Aruba has prompted Jonesboro residents to plan a day of support for the girl's northeast Arkansas family members on Thursday.

Holloway's father, Dave Holloway, is a Jonesboro native and graduate of Westside High School, who now lives in Mississippi.  He is in Aruba to help with the search.  The teenager has other family members living in the Jonesboro area, and a grandmother in Pine Bluff.

Several of the Holloway's Arkansas relatives flew to Aruba to help with the search.  The girl's aunt, Linda Allison, works at the NEA Clinic and Medical Center and her co-workers are planning the Thursday prayer and support day.

The Jonesboro High School gym will be open all day Thursday for residents to light candles and participate in prayer walks, officials said.  Clinic employees are also urging residents to tie white ribbons around their vehicle antennas to show support.
