Suspect charged in 2014 burglary

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

It took over two years, but a suspect has finally been arrested in a 2014 burglary case.

Jason A. Brown is charged with commercial burglary, breaking and entering and theft. In documents filed in Craighead County District Court on Friday, investigators said he and another man, Joe Dever, are accused of breaking into some of the machines at Suds and Duds Laundry Mat in November and December of 2014.

The police report stated the two men entered the business on November 30, 2014, and December 1, 2014, and broke into several dyers, stealing $500 in change. They are also accused of doing over $800 in damage to the dryers.

Jason A. Brown’s next court day is April 20.
