FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A ruined birthday was made better for one Northwest Arkansas boy thanks to first responders.

A 4-year-old boy’s birthday wasn’t what he wished for when no one showed up.

His mother told KNWA in Fayetteville that she reached out to the public in hopes of getting letters mailed to her son to show him he is special.

Braxton Young wants to be a fireman or police officer one day, so it meant a lot to him when first responders wrote him and invited him to visit the fire station.
