MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) -

A Paragould man faces several charges after deputies reportedly discovered drugs and guns during a parole home visit.

On March 21, Greene County sheriff’s deputies and an officer with the Arkansas Department of Community Correction Probation and Parole Division visited a home on County Road 435 in Marmaduke.

According to an incident report, 59-year-old Terry Dixon grabbed an item off a counter and placed it in his pocket.

When deputies searched Dixon, they reported finding a small glass pipe with a white, powdery residue inside of it.

After searching Dixon’s home, deputies reported finding 11 guns, two metal pipes and a wooden pipe with residue deputies say resembled marijuana.

According to the incident report, 3 of the guns were loaded and were found by the front door.

Dixon was arrested and taken to the Greene County Jail where he was charged with possession of firearms by a certain person, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft by receiving.
