JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A search warrant at a home on West Matthews in Jonesboro turned up drugs and guns.

Numerous Jonesboro Police Department officers executed the search warrant Wednesday at a home in the 2600-block of West Matthews.

Officer Bryan Bailey said inside, he found a Rossi .38 Special Revolver about a foot away from a baggie of suspected methamphetamine. Bailey said the revolver was fully loaded.

On the couch, Bailey saw a marijuana grinder with loose marijuana beside it. In a room, officers also found two cigars with suspected marijuana inside them, two glass bongs, and a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana.

"Also noted in this room there were two posters hanging on the wall of Alandis Jefferson along with tattooing gear," Bailey said in his report. "He is known for tattooing."

In a separate bedroom, a Keltec 9mm pistol was laying on a desk.

Bailey said all of the people in the home claimed they didn't live there, but due to the amount of clothes and items in the home that belonged to Jefferson, he was placed into custody.

He faces charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth or cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
