Governor appoints two Region 8 men to serve as constables

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) -

Governor Asa Hutchinson announced two Region 8 men have been appointed to serve as constables.

In a news release Thursday, the governor’s office said Brad Doney and Ricky Middleton are among the appointees.

Doney is from Imboden and will serve as constable for the Spring River Township in Randolph County.

Middleton is from Batesville and will also serve as a constable but for the Ashley Township in Independence County.

Both appointments expire December 31, 2018.

Here are the rest of the people appointed to offices by the Arkansas governor:

  • Bruce Alford, Lewisville, to the Red River Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2024. Reappointment. 
  • Clayton Sorrells, Amity, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment. 
  • Doyle Ray, Pine Bluff, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment. 
  • Misty Pitman, Conway, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment.
  • Reverend David Hudak, Bella Vista, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment.
  • Kristi Davis, Little Rock, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment.
  • Charlie Cain-Davis, Little Rock, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment.
  • Mayor JoAnne Bush, Lake Village, to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism. Appointment expires February 12, 2020. Reappointment. 
  • Ty Roberson, Marble Falls, as Constable for the Dogpatch Township in Newton County. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.
  • Peyton Clark, Jasper, as Constable for the Mt. Sherman Township in Newton County. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.
  • Oscar Hoskins, Helena, as a Justice of the Peace for the Phillips County Quorum Court, District #2. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.
  • Alicia Deavens, Fayetteville, as a Justice of the Peace for the Washington County Quorum Court, District #7. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.
