Crews work to restore power to residents following overnight storm damage

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Several residents affected by overnight storms may have to wait several hours before their power is restored.

According to a Facebook post from Craighead Electric Cooperative, there are seven total broken poles, with five of them just outside the northwest Jonesboro substation, affecting residents off County Road 333 and Hasbrook Rd.

Two other broken poles were reported on County Rd. 118.

According to the post, there are several other outages scattered throughout the system and crews are working to restore the damage.

Craighead Electric advises that if you have an outage to report to call 888-771-7772.
