MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) - One Region 8 town was busy cleaning up storm damage on Saturday.
Some residents and businesses in Marmaduke sustained property damage during high winds.
One woman said storms like this remind her of previous severe weather.
"This is tornado alley," said Martha Snay. "It tore up Marmaduke in 2008, there was hardly anything left of us."
Snay said after that storm hit town nearly 85 people left the area.
She said severe weather is something that concerns her during spring months.
"It really does scare everybody," she said. "I love it here, but it's scary at the same time when you see the black clouds roll in."
Snay said her property and family remained safe during the Saturday night's storms and she is thankful that damage left behind was not severe.
