NWS: EF0 tornado caused damage in Marmaduke

MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) - The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado moved through Greene County early Saturday morning.

Marmaduke experienced an EF0 tornado just after 1:30 a.m., according to NWS following a survey of the damage.

Winds with the tornado peaked at 80 mph and it was 120 yards wide. The tornado was down for about one minute.

NWS states a gas station was first damaged, then about 20 home sustained roof damage as the tornado moved through south and east portions of the city. Trees were snapped and the roof of an industrial plant was damaged along with several roll-up doors.
