STEELE, MO (KAIT) - A "substantial amount" of methamphetamine led to the arrest of a Southeast Missouri man on federal drug charges.
Officers arrested Justin Rash, 29, of Steele on a federal warrant Thursday, charging him with the distribution of methamphetamine.
According to Chief of Police Billy Joe Stanfield, officers arrested Rash at his home on McCollum Street.
During the arrest, investigators "located and seized a substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine," Stanfield said.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; the U.S. Marshal Service; Missouri State Highway Patrol; Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department; and the Caruthersville Police Department participated in the arrest, along with Steele police.
