HARRISBURG, AR (KAIT) -

Law enforcement agencies are still searching for three juveniles who escaped custody nearly one week ago.

The Division of Youth Services, the Harrisburg Police Department, and Arkansas State Police continue to search for the teens after their escape on March 30.

ASP Public Information Officer Bill Sadler said Wednesday "all law enforcement agencies across the state and in counties of bordering states" are on the lookout for the juveniles.

According to Harrisburg police, the three 16-year-old black males escaped the DYS unit while switching classes around noon.

Derwin Simms with the DYS says they should not be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say the juveniles ran off behind a building.

Police say they are all wearing khaki pants, navy blue sweaters/polos with white undershirts, and all have low even-cut haircuts.

Simms says the boys have only been at the facility for three weeks.

All three are from the Little Rock area, and police believe they could be heading that way.

Since they are juveniles, police cannot release their names or photos.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of these three juveniles, you're asked to contact the Harrisburg Police Department at (870) 578-2530.
