JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

HomeGoods is coming to Jonesboro.

Halsey Thrasher Harpole announced Friday that the retailer signed a lease to open a new 23,250 square-foot store in the Caraway Plaza.

Described as the nation’s largest retailer of off-price home fashions, HomeGoods expects to open its Jonesboro store in 2018.

“We are starting our work of coordinating with their architects and construction crews,” said Gary Harpole, managing partner at Halsey Thrasher Harpole, which manages and represents the shopping center. “We have been working for months putting all the pieces in motion.”

The store, which is part of the TJX companies, will join TJ Maxx, Natural Grocers, Old Navy, Rack Room, Merle Norman, and Hallmark in the shopping center.
