JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit found Ecstasy and marijuana in a man's pants Thursday night.

Investigators Chris Jefferson and Bryan Bailey pulled over a car shortly before midnight Thursday.

A probable cause affidavit states the officers smelled marijuana when they made contact with the occupants of the car.

Ruben Malone, who was a passenger in the car, was on felony probation.

"Malone was removed from the vehicle, and a search of his persons yielded six suspected Ecstasy tablets located in his left pants pocket," court documents state.

After taking Malone into custody, officers also found a green Crown Royal Apple bag in Malone's underwear. The bag had approximately 58 grams of marijuana separated into 42 baggies.

Officers also found a set of digital scales in another one of Malone's pants pocket.

Malone faces three felony drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver.

His next court appearance is on April 20. Judge Tommy Fowler set his bond at $7,500.
