A local club held an annual event in Jonesboro on Saturday in an effort to give back to the community.

The University Heights Lions Club held their 28th annual Auto Show at the Arkansas State University Convocation Center.

The show included over 140 vehicles on display, special guest John T. Wayne, and much more.

According to Brad Baker, a Lion's Club member, the show raises money to help others.

“Every dollar we make goes right back into the community,” Baker said. “Mostly our vision and hearing programs, but we do have a scholarship at ASU, we help the food bank, we help the Salvation Army. We help anybody that needs help."

For anyone who did not make it out Saturday, the Auto Show will continue Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
