STONE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Officials with the Stone County Sheriff's Office said they're planning to conduct a child support warrant roundup in the days leading up to the Mother's Day holiday.
According to a press release from Sheriff Lance Bonds, Operation Mother's Day involves investigators and deputies from the uniformed patrol and criminal investigation division.
"Our deputies and investigators will make a concentrated effort directed at orders of child support body detachments for this endeavor," the release said.
According to the release, those who've fallen behind or have defaulted child support payments but don't have a warrant should contact the Office of Child Support Enforcement to arrange payments.
Meanwhile, parents with child support warrants have until May 13 to make payments or will be arrested.
