Planned power outage for Bono to fix 'critical' problem

BONO, AR (KAIT) - People who live in Bono will be without power for several hours Wednesday night.

The town's electricity will be shut off from 7 until 11 p.m. for "critical maintenance."

Mayor Danny Shaw told Region 8 News an essential piece of equipment at the Entergy substation that supplies power to all of Bono is in the process of failing completely.

While nobody will like missing their favorite TV shows, he said crews need to cut off the power to fix the problem.

Other customers with Craighead County Electric Cooperative will not be affected by the outage.
