Woman killed after hitting tree

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A Lawrence County woman was killed following a crash Wednesday evening.

Stephanie N. Hubbard, 35, of Smithville died in the crash, according to a report from Arkansas State Police.

It happened in Jesup on Highway 115 just before 6 p.m.

ASP stated Hubbard was driving a 2004 Grand Prix east when the vehicle entered a curve, left the road, and struck a tree.

It was cloudy and the road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to ASP.

Along with ASP and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the Smithville and Strawberry Fire Departments assisted in the crash.
