JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are investigating an early-morning robbery at a gas station.

It happened around 6 a.m. Thursday at the Citgo Flash Market, 3910 S. Caraway Road.

Public Information Specialist Paul Holmes states the lone suspect entered the store with a semi-automatic pistol and repeatedly demanded money from the clerk.

After taking an undetermined amount of cash from the clerk, the male suspect ran from the store.

The suspect was wearing a hooded jacket with dark pants along with a mask that partially covered his face.

"Well, it's not right. But what can you do? I don't feel right about it. They should go out and get a job instead of hurting other people," said Arthur Alrobaiei, a manager at the gas station.

Anyone with information about the crime can call the department's Criminal Investigation Division at (870) 935-6710 or Crimestoppers at (870) 935-7867 (STOP).
