OIL TROUGH, AR (KAIT) - An old administration building in the Cedar Ridge School District has been donated to an organization in Oil Trough.

Lindsey Decker, the administrator for New Life Children's Home, said they are now raising money to repair the roof of the building. The cost of the repair will run anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000.

The home for girls runs strictly off donations.

The organization hopes to use the new building for more office space, freeing up some other rooms for fun.

"Right now we have it in the cafeteria, and they have placed it in there," Decker said. "So they'll be able to have more space in there, and maybe some of them might want to work out. So, we might use it as a workout room too."

Anyone interested in making a donation to help with repairs to the roof, call Decker at (870) 264-3757.
