WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

The Arkansas Small Business Technology and Development Center will visit Walnut Ridge on Tuesday.

Representatives will be available to give small businesses advice from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The organization will hold one-on-one confidential sessions for local small businesses.

According to Christy Vaccari-Robinson, the free sessions will provide businesses with tips on marketing, website reviews, and financial issues.

"We have several businesses in town," said Vaccari-Robinson.  "We thought that this would help them if they need it, if they need assistance in any way."

The information could help businesses boost their company and in the process boost the town's economy.

She said the meeting is the city's first event with the Arkansas Small Business Technology and Development Center.

All local small businesses are invited to the free event.

Vaccari-Robinson encourages businesses to contact Walnut Ridge City Hall to request a time slot, but walk-ins are also welcome.
