LOS ANGELES, CA (KAIT) -

A former Arkansas State Red Wolf signed a training camp contract for a WNBA team.

According to a news release from the Los Angeles Sparks, Andrea Gamble signed the contract on Tuesday.

No details were released on the terms of the deal due to a team policy.

“We are excited to have Aundrea as part of our training camp. She is a former Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year,” said Brian Agler, LA Sparks Head Coach. “Aundrea has great basketball instincts and can play the point guard spot or wing.”

Gamble ranks fourth all-time on the Arkansas State scoring list with 1,932 points.

She is also the only player to win the Sun Belt Conference Student-Athlete of the Year three straight years. Gamble is the only A-State women’s basketball history to achieve All-American status.
