CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A multi-agency effort resulted in the arrest of a man suspected of drug trafficking.
According to a post by the First Judicial District Drug Task Force, 41-year-old Paris Riley was charged with trafficking meth.
He is a convicted felon according to the task force and faces more charges include possession of a firearm by certain persons.
The task force is seeking federal prosecution in this case due "to the weight of methamphetamine possessed by Riley." The post did not state how much of the drug the man had in his possession.
Online jail records indicate Riley was booked into the Cross County Jail on Wednesday. Bond is expected to be set Friday afternoon, according to the task force.
The Wynne Police Department and FBI aided in the investigation.
