PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

A woman says Paragould firefighters went above and beyond the call of duty recently when her son and daughter-in-law’s house caught fire.

Raella Greene shared this photo on the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society’s Facebook page of a firefighter administering oxygen to the family’s cat, Taco.

“These Paragould firefighters went above and beyond the call of duty,” Greene said. “These guys are true hero[es] in our eyes.”

Unfortunately, Taco had two kittens that did not make it out.
