OSCEOLA, AR (KAIT) - A Mississippi County man was in trouble with the law after he reportedly assaulted a man earlier this month over a cell phone, Osceola police said Tuesday.
According to Police Chief Ollie Collins, Anthony Beare was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery in connection with an April 10 incident in the 200-block of N. Walnut Street.
Officers interviewed the victim, who had injuries on the back of his head and under his right eye, Collins said.
Probable cause was found and a $25,000 bond was set for Beare, whose case was sent to Mississippi County Circuit Court.
