JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Red Wolves didn't let the rain stop them from having their A-State Football Friday Fan Fest.
Open to the public fans came out to enjoy time with football players, cheerleaders, and more, giving them an inside look at every game experience for the players.
The rainy conditions brought the event in the field house at Centennial Bank Stadium, but that didn't stop fans from participating.
"It's just great because you get to make new football friends and you get to play with them," said Brandon Troutman, a young fan.
Katie McCoy is a college senior and cheerleader who said this event is impactful to everyone.
"I think it brings us all closer because the community is really important," said Katie McCoy. "They are the ones that fill the stands, they support us, and it is good that we get to have this relationship and this experience it with them."
There were also fan contests during the game including the quarterback competition, field goal kicking, and punting
