(KAIT) - A storm system on Wednesday dumped heavy rain and winds throughout Northeast Arkansas, causing flooding and wind damage.
Officials in Lawrence and Randolph counties said the flooding caused problems. In Randolph County, Millcreek Road, Country Club Road, Valley Drive and Pyburn Extended were underwater while crews in Walnut Ridge were cleaning and checking all ditches. Two locations on Main Street in Walnut Ridge were closed, Mayor Charles Snapp said.
The storms also caused power lines and trees to be down on Arkansas 463 in the Trumann area.
