BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

An Arkansas man who was wanted by police for taking his noncustodial daughter was arrested in South Carolina.

Kenyatta Talley, 23, was arrested Sunday on a kidnapping warrant from Blytheville, according to Blytheville Police Captain Scott Adams.

Talley is accused of taking his daughter, who police say he did not have custody of, from Arkansas to South Carolina on April 9.

The child was surrendered to her mother three days later by a member of Talley's family.

He is in custody at the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, Adams stated. Talley also faces charges in South Carolina.

Adams stated Talley will be extradited back to Blytheville "at a later time."
