Holiday Politics

Arkansas political figures will be getting in plenty of time with voters this 4th of July holiday weekend.

The 2006 races for Governor and Attorney General already have plenty of candidates, and office seekers are heading out to where the crowds will be this weekend.

Stops on the public itineraries of statewide office seekers include the Portia picnic, a concert in Nashville, and a Cabot celebration for troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
