SOUTHAVEN, MS (WMC) -

Country music star Chris Stapleton rescheduled his concert at The BankPlus Amphitheater in Southaven to Sept. 15.

Stapleton released a statement Friday morning explaining his reason for postponing his concert. He said he had a broken finger that will keep him from playing his guitar.

Stapleton's management team said fans should keep their tickets for the show that was originally supposed to happen June 9.

"Unfortunately, the next three weeks of "The All-American Road Show" have been postponed...We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Hold on to your tickets for now, and stay tuned for updates. "
