Son, 19, fatally shot father during domestic incident, police say

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A son fatally shot his father in the West End neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to police. 

Officers were called to the 5500 block of Etzel around 3 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting involving a domestic disturbance. When police arrived, they found 35-year-old Lamar Wise dead of gunshot wounds. 

An investigation revealed Wise was involved in a domestic incident with his 33-year-old wife when his 19-year-old son fired gunshots, killing Wise.  

Wise's wife reportedly sustained injuries to her face and neck but refused medical treatment. 

The investigation is ongoing.

    JCSO Capt. Ricky Morales said deputies responded to a home in Campbell Station shortly after the comment was made. There they found a woman's body. Deputies are ruling it a homicide.
