Man killed, 14-year-old injured in separate Sunday night shootings in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A man was killed and a 14-year-old was injured in separate shootings in north St. Louis late Sunday night.

Around 11 p.m., Terrance Smith, 24, was found shot inside a car that had ballistic damage in the 4400 block of Enright Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Just over 30 minutes later, a 14-year-old was walking with several other people when they saw a fight between two groups of men in the 5700 block of Goodfellow. During the fight, shots were fired from the group. The teenager was struck in the pelvis and taken to the hospital in critical, stable condition. 

No other details regarding either shooting have been released.

Both investigations are ongoing.

    JCSO Capt. Ricky Morales said deputies responded to a home in Campbell Station shortly after the comment was made. There they found a woman's body. Deputies are ruling it a homicide.
