Suspect Tries To Fill Fake Prescription

Here is this week' free Crimestoppers lesson. Using a fake prescription to get drugs is a felony.

Jonesboro Police say that's what this man tried to do at the Wal-Mart on Highland in Jonesboro. According to JPD, the suspect went to the pharmacy to try to fill a prescription for painkillers. Fortunately, the pharmacist noticed the DEA number on the pad was bogus and did not fill the order.

Police say he used the alias "Jay Roland". They'd like to know his real name. If you know it, call Crimestoppers and let 'em know. Call 935-STOP. No one will ask your name and if your tip turns into an arrest it's worth cash.

This week on Warrant Watch we feature Jessica and Shirley.

Here's Jessica Redden. She only gets one line on her Warrant Watch bio. Six fail to appear warrants.

Shirley Jackson is our resident hot check writer this week. Right now, she's got five warrants for writing hot checks.

If you know where JPD can find Shirley Jackson or Jessica Redden, give Crimestoppers a call 935-STOP or toll free, 888-566-STOP. You'll get a tip number. That is your ID. If you see an arrest in your case call Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD and give him your tip number. If you solve the case it's worth cash. Give 'em a call, and remember, when you see crime, call Crimestoppers. 935-STOP.
