JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Less than a year after branching out to Jonesboro, the owners of a popular Paragould restaurant have closed shop.

Taco Rio announced it has closed its restaurant at 2110 Fair Park Blvd.

The Tex-Mex restaurant opened last fall in the former Teriyaki Madness, across from Lowe’s.

The owners said the Paragould Taco Rio, which has been in operation since 1975, will remain open.
