BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A man who was wanted in connection with a murder in West Memphis Sept. 1 was arrested after authorities found him hiding under a bed in a Blytheville hotel, Captain Scott Adams of the Blytheville Police Department said.

Marcus Jerome Reynolds of West Memphis was arrested around 9 a.m. Thursday at the Relax Inn in Blytheville. Adams said Blytheville police assisted the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in arresting Reynolds.

West Memphis police contacted authorities in Blytheville on Sept. 1 about the murder and told them that Reynolds could be in the Blytheville area. Authorities then went to the hotel and found Reynolds' girlfriend, Angela White.

White reportedly told authorities that she was the only person in the room, but police later found Reynolds hiding under a bed, Adams said.

Reynolds was arrested on the murder warrant, while White was arrested on suspicion of hindering apprehension. White will appear in district court Sept. 7 for a probable cause hearing.
