JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A pawn shop owner reported a shotgun was taken from his business recently.

On Monday, Jonesboro Police Officer Adam Hampton met with Marvin Cliff, Jr., owner of Gee Street Pawn, 1101 S. Gee St.

According to the incident report, Cliff told the officer someone stole a Mossberg pump shotgun with a pistol grip in the last two weeks.

Cliff said he knew the gun was there about two weeks ago. He discovered it was taken Monday after trying to find it for a potential buyer.

The owner tried reviewing surveillance cameras, but the footage didn't go back more than a week, and he couldn't find who took it.

The 12-gauge shotgun was entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen.

The case has been reviewed by detectives and LeadsOnline will be monitoring for the gun, according to JPD.
