LITTLE ROCK, AR - A two-term state Representative is scheduled for trial Tuesday in Little Rock on a second-degree sexual assault charge.  A teenage girl accuses state Representative Dwayne Dobbins of North Little Rock of molesting her at his home.

The Democratic legislator denies the allegation.

According to an arrest warrant, the girl told police that the 42-year-old Dobbins fondled her as she was at a computer in his home doing her homework September 19, 2004.

Dobbins was charged under a provision of state law that increases penalties when the accused is in a position of trust or authority over the minor involved.  Dobbins has denied any such relationship with the girl, and says she was in his home uninvited.

Pulaski County Circuit Judge Willard Proctor, Jr. is presiding over the case.
