A-State Red Wolves fans remain hopeful for a win Saturday.
Fans started filling the parking lots around the stadium well before the 6 p.m. kick off.
Many people did not miss a chance to gather a tailgate city for some pre-game fun.
A family who was attending the game Saturday night said they went to the game not only to support A-State but one player, wide receiver Chris Murray.
Murray’s family said they hardly miss a game and also predict a Red Wolves victory.
"We, me and his dad mostly come to most of the games, especially this year his last season,” Debbie Murray, his mother said. “So, webeen traveling back and forth driving to different games. We're going to win 42 to 6.”
The Murray’s also remain hopeful that their son will break a touchdown record, which Murray only needs two touchdowns to break the record.
Even more so, they want to be able to bring the entire family to another A-State bowl game, which all Red Wolves fans are hoping for.
