JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Crews in Craighead County restored power after a massive outage was reported Monday.

Craighead Electric Cooperative experienced outages south of Jonesboro and near Bay.

Over 590 customers were affected. Servicemen are still working on smaller outages.

According to the cooperative, the outage was caused by two spans of line on the ground.

For Entergy Arkansas, Inc., outages have been reported from Rector to Greenway. The power company states the energy loss is partly due to downed wires.

North Arkansas Electric Cooperative reported outages earlier in the day but most have been restored.
