Mayor to Discuss Future of Jonesboro's Public Transit Today

JONESBORO, AR - Mayor Doug Formon will unveil the logo and designs for Jonesboro's forthcoming public transit system at a news conference today at noon.  The event is set to take place at the future home of the Jonesboro Economical Transit system station, at 713 South Caraway Road.

"I am looking forward to what all this will hold for Jonesboro's future," said Formon, "We have put a lot of hard work into this, and I know it will be a great success." 

 The Mayor will also introduce the transit advisory panel's board members today.  The panel consists of Rick Barker, Mildred Lewellea, Michael Harris, June Morse, Everett Fair, Flo Jones and alderman Jimmy Ashley.
