AUGUST 16, 2005 - Posted at 12:49 p.m. CDT

KENNETT, MO - Prosecutors in southeast Missouri are reviewing reports related to an ambulance-car crash on Sunday that killed a patient and the car's driver.

No citations have been issued.

Troopers say the accident near Kennett in Dunklin County took the life of ambulance patient William Braden of Wappapello and the car's driver, Dorothy Worrell of Hornersville.

The Highway Patrol says Patrick White was driving a Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center ambulance and allegedly ran a stop sign, striking a car.

Another EMS worker was seriously injured and flown to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis for treatment.

The Patrol says at the time of the crash, the ambulance's siren and emergency lights were not in use.
