Living Spaces Backyard Makeover Revealed!

August 17, 2005 -- Posted at 2:30 p.m. CST

JONESBORO -- From fence post to fence post, Denise and Allen Reed, of Jonesboro, got an extraordinary backyard makeover.

"No, I never thought we would ever have like actual landscaping in our yard. It's beautiful, really beautiful," said Denise Reed.

This beautiful landscaping was done by Mid-South Nursery and Greenhouses.

They provided trees, shrubs, and of course, colorful flowers to brighten up the new backyard.

No new backyard is complete without a new grill and grilling station.

This state of the art Kenmore grill provided by Sears, of Paragould, fits nicely into this brick grilling station sponsored by Residential Design Incorporated.

Across from the grill and grilling station is the Reed's new deck.

Provided by JT White, this "Trex Deck" is not your run of the mill lumber deck.

This low maintenance deck, made up of a combination of reclaimed wood and plastic, resists moisture, insects, and sunlight allowing this deck to keep looking great even through the elements.

On this deck is, of course, new furniture provided by Wal-Mart.

This table, 4 wicker chairs, cushions and a chaise lounge will give this family of four a place to kick up their heels and enjoy the outdoors.
