1 hospitalized after shots fired into Independence mobile home

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

Authorities in Independence, MO, say one person has been hospitalized after a shooting at a mobile home park late Tuesday night.

The shooting happened at about 11:08 p.m. at the Midwest Mobile Home Park, located in the 12800 block of E 47th Street.

When officers arrived, they learned that several shots were fired into a mobile home.

Officers found one person who had been hit by gunfire inside the home.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.

No information about a possible suspect has been released.
