JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Getting to St. Louis to see a Cardinals game or do a little weekend shopping just got a lot easier.

Air Choice One announced Friday it would offer weekend round-trip flights to St. Louis.

The new Saturday flight departs STL at 11 a.m. and arrives at JBR at 12:30 p.m. It then leaves JBR at 1 p.m. and lands in STL at 2:30 p.m.

The Sunday flight leaves STL at 3 with an ETA of 4:30 p.m. in JBR. At 5 p.m., the jet takes off for St. Louis at 6:30 p.m.

The updated schedule takes effect this weekend.

The schedule change will replace two less-popular mid-day flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, according to a news release.

“Flights to and from St. Louis on the weekends are popular, and understandably so,” said Shane Storz, CEO of Air Choice One. “We want to provide service where it is most needed, and we believe moving this flight will benefit a lot of our passengers.”

The St. Louis-based airline has served the Jonesboro market since 2012.
