UPS workers honored for accident-free driving

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

For at least 25 years, five Region 8 men have been driven to success.

The five are among the 17 elite Arkansas drivers inducted Wednesday into the UPS Circle of Honor.

According to a news release from the parcel delivery company, the drivers have achieved 25 or more years of accident-free driving.

Among those from our area who were honored are:

  • Danual Melton of Jonesboro
  • Terry Junkersfeld of Pocahontas
  • Robert Deshazo of Searcy
  • Steven Jones of Trumann
  • Timothy London of Searcy

Walter Jordan, Jr. of Dermott is the state’s senior-most safe driver with 39 years of accident-free driving under his belt.

Globally, the most season UPS Circle of Honor driver is Thomas Camp of Livonia, Mich., with 55 years of driving without an accident.
