POINSETT COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Poinsett County Sheriff Kevin Molder says the search of a parolee's residence turned up drugs and paraphernalia.

In a news release Tuesday, Molder said his investigators searched the residence of 59-year-old George W. Siddons Monday afternoon at 402 Parker St. in Waldenburg.

During the search, he said his deputies seized methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription pills without a prescription.

Siddons was also listed as an absconder with the Arkansas Community Correction, according to Molder.

He was arrested and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Siddons was taken to the Poinsett County Detention Center to await a probable cause hearing.
