It was an interesting situation Tuesday as authorities attempt to find the suspect accused of shoplifting nearly $800 worth of fragrances from a Jonesboro store.
Jonesboro police went to Ulta Beauty, 3031 East Highland Dr. around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after getting a call about the theft. According to a police report, a witness said they saw a black male in his mid 20's to mid 30's walk into the store, grabbed a carrying bag and went to the fragrance aisle.
The suspect then filled up the bag and started walking out the door, police said, as the witness tried to stop him.
Authorities believe the suspect may be involved in other Ulta thefts in Memphis, Cordova and Southaven, Miss.
Anyone with information on the theft can call Jonesboro Crimestoppers at 870-935-STOP.
