RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

One person was killed and two others were injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 67 in Randolph County Thursday.

According to an online Arkansas State Police report posted Thursday night, the crash happened on U.S. 67 North, south of Keller Lane around 1 p.m. Thursday.

A vehicle, driven by Rebecca Anderson of Marianna, crossed the center line and struck the left front of a second vehicle. The report does not name the driver of the second vehicle, who was killed in the crash, pending notification of next of kin.

From there, the second vehicle crossed over into the southbound lane and struck a third vehicle, driven by Floyd Beavers of Jacksonville, ASP said.

"After impact, vehicle 2 and 3 caught fire and burnt," the report from ASP Cpl. Gary Ladner said.

Both Anderson and Beavers were taken to hospitals in Jonesboro and Memphis, ASP noted.

Earlier, Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble has confirmed that one person is dead following a crash Thursday afternoon.

Crews were at the crash site in Randolph County on U.S. 67 near Current River Bridge for over 3 hours.

A propane truck reportedly caught fire and one explosion was also reported.
