Fire destroys home in Ozark Acres

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Firefighters spent Thursday battling a blaze that completely destroyed a home in Sharp County. 

Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts said deputies got a call about 6:25 p.m. Thursday about the fire on U.S. 63 in the Ozark Acres area. Ozark Acres and Williford firefighters, along with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, helped to put out the fire. 

Counts said crews had already been in the area since about 1:30 p.m. Thursday battling a woodpile fire.

No one was injured.
